Simple Solo Ideas

 

Solo Ideas in A is uses the accompanying Rhythm in A track, with a few cool solo ideas on top courtesy of me. They all use the simple A Pentatonic Scale (between frets 5 and 8), and the A Blues Box that adjoins the pentatonic scale (between frets 8 and 10) on the top 3 strings. These are pretty simple licks that repeat a bunch, so if you hear one you like, you can figure it out. I was going to just do a bunch of single licks and then leave space for you to try each one, but I FORGOT 'cuz I was having so much fun!

Rhythm in A is a great backing track in the key of A that you can repeat or loop on your CD player. It's a good jam that never leaves A so you can practice licks over A 'til you are blue.
